On Sunday, August 20, 2023, more than 700 new Doctors, Masters, and Bachelors of HUB (Ho Chi Minh University of Banking) shared a profound and emotional experience during the Autumn Graduation Ceremony held at the campus located at 56 Hoang Dieu 2, Thu Duc District, Ho Chi Minh City.

The Graduation Ceremony was graced by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Thanh Ha - Secretary of the Party Committee - Chairman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung - Rector - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee - Vice Chairman of the University Council; Mr. Nguyen Tran Phuc - Deputy Rector.; leaders of various faculties, departments; faculty members; and most notably, nearly 700 new Doctors, Masters, and Bachelors of the Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City, along with their families and loved ones.

In particular, the Autumn Graduation Ceremony - 2023 at HUB was honored by the presence of Professor - Doctor Nguyen Thien Nhan, a member of the National Assembly, former Politburo member, former Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, former Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, former Deputy Prime Minister, and former Minister of Education and Training.

The chairman of University Council, Rector, and Vice Rector of the Ho Chi Minh University of Banking send their congratulations to the new Doctors, Masters, and Bachelors who have successfully completed a long and relentless journey to achieve the results they celebrate today. They extend their congratulations to the parents, families, and loved ones who share in the joy of their children's success on their educational journey. They also express their gratitude to those who trusted and chose HUB as the place for research, learning, and personal growth, and who now carry with them the cherished memories of their vibrant youth.

Before leaving HUB to embark on new journeys, the new graduates have every right to take pride in their alma mater—a university with a rich tradition spanning nearly half a century, a university that has nurtured generations of talent for both the banking industry and the nation.

HUB, not only boasting a proud track record, is also undergoing a strong transformation on its path to becoming a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary university recognized in the Southeast Asian region. It pioneers the application of digital technology in research and education. The programs oriented towards digital transformation are being developed and deepened. The expertise of the faculty and scientists continues to be enhanced, and the quality of education is affirmed through national and international accreditations. The process of internationalizing education and scientific research activities is being pursued with a sustainable approach.

In his address to the faculty and the new Doctors, Masters, and Bachelors of HUB, Professor - Doctor Nguyen Thien Nhan shared that the history of development in countries both in the region and around the world demonstrates that no nation can progress without relying on a highly educated workforce. Therefore, as someone with many years of involvement in education and as a parent, he expressed profound gratitude to the teachers, including those at the Ho Chi Minh University of Banking, for their contributions to the field of education and for preparing high-quality human resources for the country. Professor - Doctor Nguyen Thien Nhan also commended the remarkable development of HUB in terms of infrastructure, highly qualified faculty, domestic and international quality assurance, and particularly the vision of developing programs geared towards digital transformation.

Addressing the new graduates, Professor - Doctor Nguyen Thien Nhan emphasized that "graduation marks the beginning of the learning journey." He encouraged the new Doctors, Masters, and Bachelors to continue their learning journey by constantly self-studying, staying updated with new knowledge, pursuing higher education, gaining practical experience, observing and learning from both domestic and international contexts, improving their language skills, and staying informed. Newly graduated Doctor Huynh Thi Tuyet Ngan (major in Banking and Finance), Bachelor Tran Trong Tin (major in Banking and Finance, and the valedictorian of the High-Quality Training Program in June 2023, graduating with honors), Bachelor Pham Thi Trang (major in Accounting, graduating with honors), and Bachelor Vo Thi Kim Ngan (major in International Economics, graduating with honors) spoke on behalf of the new graduates, expressing their heartfelt gratitude to their parents and esteemed teachers.
