On the morning of October 25, 2022, at the Main Hall 36 Ton That Dam, District 1, Ho Chi Minh University of Banking (HUB) held the signing ceremony of a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Kien Long Commercial Joint Stock Bank (KLB)

Attending the signing ceremony on the side of Kien Long Bank there were Mr. Tran Ngoc Minh - Member of the Board of Directors - General Director; Mr. Nguyen Van Minh - Deputy General Director of KienlongBank; together with leaders of divisions, departments, divisions and branches under KienlongBank.

On the side of HUB, there were the attendance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Thanh Ha - Chief Secretary of the Party Committee - Chairman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung- Vice Rector in charge of and leaders of faculties, departments and student representatives of faculties.

Through the bilateral cooperation relationship, KienlongBank wishes to create conditions for students to have closer and more direct access to modern digital banking services, more convenient in the learning process and practice.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung suggested that functional units of both HUB and KienLongBank need to have specific and detailed working programs to soon implement the contents signed at the MOU to bring practical benefits to both sides, and especially for the students of HUB, who will most likely be the future employees of KienlongBank.

Prior to this event, at the opening ceremony of the school year 2022 - 2023 of HUB, KienLongBank also awarded an amount of VND 100,000,000 to the Student Scholarship Fund (HUB Scholarship). The cooperation between the two parties will bring internships, jobs and practical experiences to students, strengthen the cohesion of HUB and businesses, and contribute to the formation of an education ecosystem.
