On the afternoon of October 6, 2022, the delegation of Banking Academy of Laos (BAL) visited and worked at Ho Chi Minh University of Banking (HUB). On this occasion, BAL presented the Certificate of Merit to HUB to recognize outstanding achievements in human resource development for the Lao's banking industry.

The delegation of the Banking Academy of Laos led by Dr. Arkhom PRASEUTH - Member of the Personnel Committee of the Banking Party of the Lao PDR - Director of the Banking Academy of Laos as the Head of the delegation. Joining the Delegation were Dr. Thonemy KEOKINNALY Deputy Director of BAL, Mr. Vilaykham PONGPHIMKHAM- Deputy Director of BAL, Ms. Phetsila KHAMTHONGVERN- Head of Office Management of BAL, Dr. Chanthavone PHOMMATHEP- Deputy Head of Department of Human Resources Laos, Mr. Pouvieng Banchanthavong - Representative of the Organization and Personnel Department of the Bank of Lao PDR.

Working with the delegation and attending the award ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung- Acting Rector , Dr. Nguyen Tran Phuc- Vice Rector, and Heads of faculties, units throughout the university and students representative of the training programs.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Dr. Arkhom PRASEUTH - Member of the Party Committee of the Bank of Lao PDR - Director of the Banking Academy of Laos highly appreciated the support in human resource training, as well as the valuable experiences that HUB has shared in the past time. Banking Academy of Laos and HUB will continue to cooperate more closely in the coming time, contributing to fostering the relationship between the two banking industries, the two countries of Vietnam - Laos are forever green and sustainable.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung appreciates the affection, interest and recognition of the Bank of Lao PDR for HUB. More specifically, Assoc. Nguyen Duc Trung suggested that the two sides could further promote the student exchange program, so that students of the Banking Academy of Laos could study at the HUB for a short term in a few weeks or follow up. Each semester, at the same time, HUB students also have the opportunity to experience the learning and cultural environment at HVNH Laos, one of the leading universities of the peaceful and beautiful country of Laos. On the part of the lecturers of the two universities, it is necessary to further promote cooperation programs in terms of training program sharing, research cooperation, teaching cooperation, and lecturer exchange.

According to the work program, on October 7, 2022, the Lao Banking Academy delegation continued to visit the campus at 56 Hoang Dieu 2 City. Thu Duc and participated in a series of workshops to share experiences with the following topics:

-Methods to improve the quality of student learning
-Improve the way students' learning outcomes are assessed
-Innovating teaching methods and applying technology to improve teaching effectiveness
-Improve and modernize curriculum content and teaching materials
