To support Ho Chi Minh City in the fight against Covid-19, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Chairman of Sunwah Group, donated 2,500 medical masks today (9 April) to Banking University in Ho Chi Minh City (BUH).
Mr. Jesse Choi, Director of Sunwah Vietnam, represented Sunwah Group to make the donation to BUH. The medical supplies were donated to the University to assist healthcare officials, frontline workers and student volunteers at the pioneer hospitals and quarantine areas.
Dr. Jonathan Choi said: “We are planning a series of celebratory activities for our 50th Anniversary starting from September this year. With the outbreak of Covid-19 extending to Vietnam, I decided to give our assistance as soon as possible to combat the Coronavirus.”
“Based on the long-term relationship between Hong Kong and Vietnam and Sunwah Group’s long-term presence in Vietnam, I would like to express our commitment and dedication to Vietnam through the donations,” he added.
Established in 1957 in Hong Kong, Sunwah Group is a highly diversified conglomerate with business activities in China, Macao, ASEAN countries, Japan, Korea, Canada, the United States, Europe and Australia.
