Kasikorn Bank (KBank for short) is the second largest bank in Thailand (in terms of total assets) and the leading digital bank in Asia. KBank has just opened its first branch in Vietnam in November 2021. In addition, KBank owns the region's leading startup investment company Kasikorn Vision, which has invested in many famous startups such as Sendo, KiotViet, Seedcom Group, Jiohealth, Do Ventures in Vietnam.

Ho Chi Minh University of Banking (HUB) is one of the leading universities in Vietnam in Banking-Finance training, and has recently been promoting education in digital transformation and Fintech, having had successful cooperations with Chulalongkorn University (Thailand) so leaders of KBank visited and proposed long-term strategic cooperation. In the immediate future, the two sides agree on the following contents:

KBank supports internship opportunities, career opportunities, financial knowledge sharing, investment and financial support for HUB students.

KBank sponsors the school's digital transformation through research and development of a super application platform that helps the school digitize teaching, student management and financial activities. With the region's leading strengths in technology, digital transformation and finance, KBank is confident to support HUB in successfully digitalizing teaching and student management activities.
The visit and working visit of Mr. Kittichart Potithat, First Vice President and senior delegation of Kasikorn Bank Group of Thailand ended successfully and opened up many opportunities and prospects for cooperation between the two universities.
