In 2022, the award attracted 119 universities, colleges and academies nationwide, with 1,231 topics of 3728 candidates participating in 12 fields: Chemical Technology, Pharmacy; Biotechnology - Biomedical; Information technology; Food Technology; Education; Economy; Technology; Agriculture, Forestry and fishery; Juridical; Planning, Architecture and Construction; Natural Resources and Environment, Society and Humanities. A total of 134 best projects were awarded, including 8 first prizes, 15 second prizes, 14 third prizes and 97 consolation prizes.

HUB this year welcomed 11 projects participating in the awards in the field of economics. Especially the topic "APPLYING SEM-NEURAL NETWORK METHODS TO BUILD A FORECAST MODEL OF CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE ON DIGITAL BANKING SERVICES AT VIETNAM COMMERCIAL BANKERS" of the research team including: La Phu Hao, Luong Tran Hoang Huong, Nguyen Thi Thuy Nga, Le Nguyen Hoai Thi under the guidance of Dr. Le Hoang Anh entered the final round of the award - Economics field and excellently won the second prize. More specifically, the Economics Sector in 2022 did not have the first prize, the remaining second prize belonged to the research team from the Open University of Ho Chi Minh City.
