In the morning of August 28, 2022 at Thu Duc campus. The school was filled with flowers with bright smiles and emotional moments of the new graduates and their relatives during the Graduation Ceremony.
The graduation ceremony was held at the Great Hall with the participation of: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Doan Thanh Ha – Chairman of the School Council, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung – Acting Vice in charge of the School, Dr. Nguyen Tran Phuc - Vice Rector, together with teachers and leaders of faculties, departments, institutes and centers of the university, especially with the presence of 6 new PhDs, 141 new masters, and nearly 1000 new graduates with family and relatives.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Thanh Ha - Chairman of the University Council, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung - Acting Rector, on behalf of the Board of Directors, congratulated the new PhDs, masters and bachelors; Special congratulations and thanks to the parents and relatives of the new faculty members who trusted, accompanied and supported the new faculties and the University during the training process.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Thanh Ha shared: "Success is a journey, not a destination", in order to get achievements and successful destinations today, PhD students, trainees and students have to go through. The journey of learning, training, and research is full of effort and non-stop. The difficulties and challenges are more and more in the context of 2 years of influence of the Covid-19 pandemic. But with the efforts, creativity and spirit of overcoming difficulties, of fellows, students, students, teachers and management team of the Head House, we have reached the successful finish line of today. The school, the teachers will always follow the next journey of the new doctorates, masters and bachelors graduating today; Welcome back to the University to continue your higher studies, as well as share and spread your knowledge and experiences to the next generation of students.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung shared, today we have the right to be proud of our learning results, confident with the knowledge and skills that have been equipped by the University to enter the labor market. But you should never forget that science, technology and business environment are changing very quickly, if you stop learning, stop reinventing yourself, you will soon be left behind. He hopes that the new faculty will always promote the pioneering spirit, creativity, not afraid to learn, adapt and lead new trends, forge lifelong learning capacity; at the same time, always stick together and join hands to build a strong community of HUB alumni. The achievements of alumni are the pride, the greatest asset of the University, and the greatest reward of the teachers.
MsC Nguyen Van Hoa, Deputy General Director of Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB) expressed his excitement when standing on the podium for the second time to receive his diploma at HUB, the first time he received his diploma from HUB was 30 years ago. I would like to express my deep gratitude to my teachers, and the Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City for helping me and my friends to have a solid foundation for career and life.
On behalf of the new bachelors, Nguyen Ho Tram Anh, a student of class HQ6-GE02, majoring in Business Administration, High-Quality University Program shared: “Just a few days ago, the timeline on my personal page. Facebook reminded me of the 4 years ago anniversary, the day I entered HUB. Rereading my feelings 4 years ago, looking back at the image of my immature self being led into the hall by my father to complete the admission procedures and looking back at myself after exactly 4 years at the HUB, I feel proud of myself. I realize that I am much more mature, strong and brave. With an environment that is both serious and creative, I have been trained not only in professional knowledge and practical ability, but also fostered social skills and practical applications, so that today When standing here, receiving a bachelor's degree from the University of Ho Chi Minh City, I am confident that I have been equipped with enough knowledge and courage to become a citizen ready to contribute to the construction of the country.
New graduate Nguyen Minh Au, class DH35TC04 shared, “Allow me to express my deepest gratitude on behalf of the new graduates. That is the biggest motivation for us to be more confident and stronger in the upcoming career journey"
The graduation ceremony took place solemnly and emotionally in the witness of teachers, parents and relatives of the new faculty. A journey closes, a new journey opens, each new graduate today will have their own choices and directions after leaving the lecture hall.
