On August 27, 2018, in collaboration with the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Schools for Professional Education, Colleges and Universities Sector,  the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Banking University (BUH) held a ceremony to announce the decision appointing the new Party Secretary of BUH for the  2015-2020 term.

 Mr.  Pham Thien Kha - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Sector Party Committee, attended and awarded the Decision Paper to the new Secretary. Other ceremony participants included representatives from BUH Party Committee,  Chairman of BUH Council, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union, Secretaries of the Party Cells, Heads and Deputy Heads of all departments, faculties and divisions of the University.

At the ceremony, Mr. Pham Thien Kha - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Sector Party Committee awarded the Appointment Decision to Mr. Bui Huu Toan - Acting Rector of HCMC Banking University, who will henceforth assume the post of  BUH Party Secretary for the 2015-2020 term.

In his keynote address at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Thien Kha said that he placed absolute trust in Mr. Bui Huu Toan and held a firm belief that the newly appointed would fulfill all his roles in the new position. He also requested Mr. Bui Huu Toan to maximize his capabilities and promote the spirit of solidarity among all party members to successfully complete all assigned tasks together.

BUH Party Committee Secretary Dr. Bui Huu Toan thanked the Party leaders in particular and all other communists in general for placing their trust and confidence in him. He affirmed that he, in joint efforts with others, will uphold the well-established traditions of BUH .
